Katherine C Counselling
-- Registered Psychotherapist --
I understand that life can throw unexpected challenges our way, such as relationship struggles, anxiety, depression, or trauma. These difficulties can make it difficult to cope with everyday life.
Areas of Expertise
Grief, Loss, Mourning
My approach to counselling is person-centered and holistic. I create a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for clients to share their story and be heard. Throughout my counselling session I support my clients by helping them to draw from their strengths, and develop self-compassion as they engage in the therapeutic process.
During my sessions I draw from various evidence based treatment approaches including: Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.(DBT).
