How I Can Help
Life can be sometimes overwhelming and stressful making it difficult to cope. As your therapist, I'm here to help you work through some of your issues (i.e., anxiety, grief, loss) that you're struggling with by developing the skills, insight, and knowledge you need to lead a life you want.
Talking to someone about painful emotions and memories can be difficult. As your counsellor and psychotherapist, I create a trusting, safe and non-judgmental environment to help you heal and grow.
My approach to counselling is person-centered and holistic. I create a safe, compassionate and non-judgmental space for clients to share their story and be heard. Throughout my counselling session I support my clients by helping them to draw from their strengths, and develop self-compassion as they engage in the therapeutic process.
During my sessions I draw from various evidence based treatment approaches including: Mindfulness-Based Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy.
